December Update

Merry Christmas to all my followers.

quiet month activities have included F7 Windows, Ops Sessions, Tasks Completed & Scheduled and Xmas Dinner.

F7A Windows

I use an old Athearn Bluebox Super Heavyweight F7A that has a mashima can motor and Lok Pilot decoder coupled to a Proto 200 F7B to shunt up the steep grade to my steelworks.  The F7A was the early model with no window glass.  Spacky came to visit and spotted there were no windows and set about using Krystal Clear to create some.

Here is the results.

Thanks Spacky!

Ops Sessions

There were three sessions held since my last post.  The first at Ross's and the second at Peter J's and the third at Wayne's.

Ross's 27th November

Don, Spacky and Peter S joined Ross for the session unfortunately due to family medical appointments I was unable to attend.  Thanks to Don who took some photos and video for me to share.

Peter J's 4th December

Dennis, Peter S, Wayne and I attended for the first run of "Session 2".  The session went reasonably well and we learnt a few things which will result in some updates to the job cards and the importance of doing things consistent with the train graph. The were a large number of shorts from two of the steam locos so Peter is considering getting a couple of diesels to replace the troublesome locos.

We were all concentrating on what to do and forgot to take any photos!

Afterwards we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea.

Wayne's 13th December

I was invited and accepted then on the day I woke up sick so I missed out, Des, Don, John and Ross attended and I believe were kept busy.

Xmas Dinner

20 of us gathered for a lovely meal at the Lonsdale Hotel and much discussion was held.  I forgot to get photos of the three tables - Sorry guys!

I did get a few of the "hangers on".

That's it for now so until next year.....
