Quite a busy month and activities have included Onka Valley Scenery, Sign,
Ops Sessions , AMRE Exhibition, Tasks Completed in last 30 days & Scheduled
Tasks for next 90 days.
Onka Valley Scenery
There has been a fair bit of work this month and we are nearing completion - well a month or so away!
Bridge Piers & Plate Girder Facing
The bridge beam sections were glued to the aluminium tube supporting the
tracks then the piers were positioned and glued in place.
The pier bases were constructed and detailed.
Bridge Structure
The bridge top sections were placed in position.
Ground Cover
The starkness of the base cover is gradually disappearing as more and
more textures with different colours are added.
Trees
We started adding different types of trees through the diorama.
Some needed additional flock which we applied before planting. Peter
placed some leaf litter around the bases of some too.
What's Next
More trees to the flood plain area and the ridge up to and on the plateau on the left side. Then the multiple pours of the creek water - we estimate four pours of 2-3mm to get the water level we desire.
A good vacuum and clean ready for the Ops session on July 3.
Sign
Peter J ink-jet printed a paper sign for me for me to apply to a building. This was the first paper sign I have applied. I was instructed to sand the back until the sign until it was really thin I used 150, 430 & 600 grit and then applied PVA glue then placed on the building and using my fingernail to bed in.
Ops Sessions on 5th
Well, it didn't happen again due to the lack of available operators. So until next month....
I sought feedback from my operators on possible future changes to try and ensure the ops sessions go ahead. Everyone wanted the existing system to continue so we will see if the last two failures were an aberration.
Ops Sessions at Wayne's
I was invited to two sessions this month and I was able to go to both - at last!
14 June
Spacky, Alan, Des, John and I joined Wayne for the session.
Spacky was down from Pt Augusta for the exhibition and stayed on for a few days and was able to join us for the session.

Thanks, Don, for the opportunity.
