Well the "train" (model and 12" to foot) related activities continues...
We flew from Chicago to Philadelphia and then drove to Tim's where we spent a lovely evening and spent the following day with Ralph.
Well what a lovely host with a lovely family, six kids who were very courteous and friendly, a delicious spread for tea.
The layout room.... and Tim gives had a few words to say...
We enjoyed a tipple at the end of the evening...

Thanks so much to Tim & Leslie and family for a very enjoyable evening in which time just got away. I thought it was about 9:30 and it was 11:15!
Another great host, Ralph & Joe Huber we a great pair to spend most of the day with. A interesting issue came up in opening discussion Ralph & Joe and Rosslyn & I have both know :our mates" for 39 years... Despite Ralph's electrical issues with a booster we managed to run a number of trains through the system and have fun. Later we helped clear the main yard and assisted with problem solving.
A video tour of the layout before we started operations....
We were kept so busy we only have video of his layout so I had to screenshot a few photos from the video!
After a great day we have a lovely dinner with Ralph and Sandy
A much slower paced day which was really appreciated - Thanks Ralph, Joe & Sandy.
Stay tuned for the next installment!
