In February a few things got done on the Top Level Signal Controls, Speed table set on the Doodle Bug, did some "Cab Ride" videos, attended two operating sessions and some TrainMasters TV.
Top Level Signal Controls
The strategy is to "wire" all the physical connections between all the input signals to their respective direct or shared control boards. If the input is to be shared "1 to many" then it has to go through an input isolator to avoid the "diodes in parallel" problem I have talked about previously.
Video
Only one video of what I have been doing again playback is at 10 times the actual speed.
Part 6
All the detection sockets are now wired to the direction sensing boards but much wiring remains before installation in the layout room.
Holes drilled for the cables to pass through
Edge strip 38mm x 19mm attached ready for the heavy brass strip hinge
New leg attached to carry the weight of the Control board when fixed
Doddle Bug
I have run in and then set the speed table for desired performance.
On the speedometer for tuning with DecoderPro
Cab Ride Videos
Derek brought his truck mounter camera over so we took it for a spin around the layout.. All those construction memories come back when you see the "back side" of the scenic-ed sections - a different perspective.
