Visitor from Sweden
A couple of weeks ago Bo asked on the Model Rail Radio Facebook Page if anyone had any suggestions on what to see he visited Adelaide for a couple of days. I replied and asked Bo and asked him to send his travel details so I could work out a program.
On the Friday night we met for dinner to get to know each other. Saturday we to visit the National Railway museum, followed by a visit to Wayne's and to Ross's to see their layouts. We had dinner at my house with my wife Kaye. Sunday, I took him to Goolwa to ride the Cockle Train to Victor Harbor.
We returned home to run some trains on my layout. Three hours later I took Bo to the airport ready for his return trip.

When Bo started running some trains I discovered that he had not seen or used Kadee couplers before so it was a learning experience for him.

Bo generously provided a gift of a Swedish model to each of us whom he visited.
I enjoyed hosting Bo ang he will be welcomed back anytime.
Scenery Work
NMRA Australasian Region
I finally joined up!
David Orr, Division 6 Superintendent has tried to contact me and I owe him a call back and when I am over my sickness I will contact him.
One of my operators snf my nre scenery guru is already a member and is a MMR.
I just thought that over time I have talked to other members - Gerry Hopkins comes to mind - and it just seemed right I join up. Not sure just how active I will be so time will tell.
Ops Session on 6th
Barry, Chris, Dennis, Don and Peter S joined me for the session.
Dennis tried his hand ar Hornertown Yardmaster after a brief introduction prior to the session. Given it is probably the most complicated job for the session I was pleased with what he ahieved.
We had fun but did not manage to get through the jobs before the "end of session" alarm went off - I have introduce this to ensure we have a debrief and enjoy afternoon tea before people have to leave.
Afternoon Tea
Following the session, we debriefed over afternoon tea. Barry's was back in his usual seat and cheese cutter role.
Ops Session at Wayne's
I was lucky to be available and invited on March 8 so Alan, Des, John and Murray joined me at Wayne's where we had an enjoyable afternoon of running.
I was invited to the session on March 23, but I was unwell and could not attend.
